29 Jul Prototype development mid-point check in
We have now reached the middle of our eight week agile development process which has included weekly live demos of the platform. The sprints have been integral to perfecting the prototype and it’s exciting to see the team working so hard to get every detail just right.
Our sprint team Radical and Fahrenheit 212 were this week joined by Nigel Winnan, connections manager from Wales and West Utilities as well as Tony Nixon, strategy and innovation manager and Sarah Bradford, RIIO delivery analyst, both of National Grid.

As well as covering a live product demonstration, we ran through fully designed screens of the whole platform so we could see it all connecting together. It felt like a real achievement to see this and also gave the team an excellent opportunity to feed back on the complete platform. We also discussed the business model and what type of brand Futurewave should be.
Well done guys! It’s incredible to see all of the pieces of the puzzle coming together so quickly.
Watch this space for next week’s demo.
