Project Log: Engaging stakeholders

08 Aug Project Log: Engaging stakeholders

In the current phase of the project, one of our priorities is getting out on the road and engaging with as many potential customers and stakeholders as possible. All these conversations are helping us to build a clearer understanding of the energy pain points and aspirations of communities throughout UK and the opportunity that The Energy Loop potentially offers.

Over the last two months alone we’ve taken The Energy Loop to industry exhibitions in major cities across the UK, including the Utility Week Energy Summit in London, the International Festival for Business in Liverpool and Eco Fair in Leeds.

We’ve also visited National Energy Action community schemes in the North East with Northern Gas Networks, talked to the people behind Ashton Hayes’ bid to become the UK’s first carbon neutral village with SP Energy Networks and held meetings with organisations, such as Bristol Energy, who – like us – are taking a fresh approach to energy.

It really is inspiring to see and learn from all of the amazing schemes that are going on around the country. If you’d like to find out more about our project, contact us.
