09 Oct Project Log: Looking to the future
It has been a week of progression for the Futurewave team as our focus turned to data and planning ahead for Phase 03 – the full platform build.
A key driving motivation is making the user experience as seamless as possible for platform users. As part of this we built a fully-functioning prototype using a ‘black box’ of data and calculations in order to achieve ease of use. As with any model, there are limitations – so we have been working hard to make improvements by comparing our model to fully analytical models and making adjustments accordingly.
Our in house lawyers have also been thinking about data, attending training this week to ensure we are heading into the next phase with clarity on best practice data management.
The latter part of the week has seen us looking ahead to Phase 03 and planning a road map to delivery. This sees us looking ahead to the exciting time when the platform will make the transition to a sustainable business in its own right – the point we are all working towards.
This is a crucial part of planning involving writing recommendations based on our essential user feedback and speaking to other start-up experts, and we hope to announce our approach in detail at the end of Phase 02 summit in November.
Next week, the core team are hitting the road to gather invaluable industry insight that will ensure we are shaping the platform to maximise the benefit for our partner networks.
