23 Jul Sprinting to the project mid-point
With a second sprint and live demo complete, we’re now building up to the mid-point of the project and are very excited to see how far we have come in such a short space of time. This week’s demo ran through the community ‘Source it’ journey which will connect people who want to start community initiatives with the necessary support to move from an idea to an active project. It was a really useful session so as ever, a big thankyou to the team at Radical and Fahrenheit 212 for their hard work.
Doing the sprints has been a real eye opener and has really helped us dig into detail of Futurewave and how each aspect will work. Having the team feedback within 24 hours of a demo is hugely helpful and an important part of the iterative development process.
Spreading the message about Futurewave
Aside from this, I’ve been out and about on the road talking to a number of different organisations about the project. This has included engaging with local councils and attending meetings in London to develop the business model and brand. I also visited the Yorkshire Energy Partnership in York to learn about starting a community initiative. Everyone has been extremely supportive of Futurewave and its notion to make consumer choice easier by connecting them to the right people with the correct information, so I’m looking forward to continuing these discussions.
